Great take! I see myself as a friend partnered with AI now haha and I think it's made me better. There are sometimes when a friend comes to me with a problem and I recommend discussing it with Claude or ChatGPT. I don't necessarily provide answers now, but help be there as a friend who can listen, commiserate or enjoy their stories. I do think if you're someone who likes to jump in and give advice (as you highlighted last week), it will be more important to shift to being someone who listens and provides other things. This was an interesting read because I hadn't connected those dots.
Appreciate it Michelle. I'm using robots all the time (especially when writing), haven't really tried 'social' versions yet ;) Also, I find humans and robots complement each other nicely, especially in the creative process. And yes, shifting from advice-giver to listener is exactly the kind of muscle I think we’ll all need more of. When you 'send' a friend to AI, what do you think they're missing out on (if any)?

What a great tip, Rik: simply reflect back what the other person said. I'm going to start doing just that. And thanks.
Thanks Larry. It is honestly the single most powerful thing I've come across in communication :) Enjoy!
