…great read bud…so much of feedback is inquiry…reflective questions to assist the writer in lucidity…i had to part ways with an editor who not only used feedback as a means to editorialize but also to rewrite and argue…i’ve made the joke before but lets go again…we have ted talks now we need ted listens…and

Yeah, it's a rare skill. I know I was that editor at some point, and would still be if I hadn't been exposed to coaching skills and attitudes. TED listens, like, the audience all screaming and one guy on the red dot doing his best to listen to all of them at the same time?

Ah yes, that's way better. And then when someone speaks to you, make a 'shhh' sound with your finger to your lips I think.
