...such powerful advice Rik...as a talkytalkerson I often forget how valuable it can be to open myself up by opening up and diving into others...the richness of the depth of the conversations I imagine you have through this applied strategy...great food for thought and something I am going to try and apply moving forward as best I can...appreciate you!...

We are all talkytalkersons, if not always out loud, definitely always inside our respective thinking loops. The only reason I know that it's possible to improve is because I had the same problem :)

A very useful distinction about the application of curiosity Rik. I'm sure it feels incredibly rewarding to see its organic pay-off in your own relationships and life. Congrats.

It does feel incredible. It's one of the biggest surprises of going through coach-training; the impact on my personal relationships. What I didn't really address is that 'us curious folk' actually have a head start. You might be steamrolling, but without your curiosity you wouldn't be able to curb it into a supportive strength at all.

Awesome breakdown of a subtle but impactful error I know I’ve made. I’m going to keep this in mind the next time a friend shares something with me that’s important to them
