I like the idea of comparing yourself as a listener to ChatGPT. I marvel at its ability to patiently chat with my 3.5 year old.
One small push back, courtesy of Ric Elias on the Invest Like the Best Podcast: You also gotta give the other side the chance to listen to you, to show they care about you, too. Only listening is just as selfish as being the one who's always listening.
Yes, I totally agree that it's about balance and I like the idea of leaving space for others to show they care about you (it reminds me of gift giving and receiving). In my experience though, even letting others show they care about you needs listening from your end, and the balance is often on the side of not really listening I've found (or at least that's what I used to do/be ;) I'm curious, what are the chats between your 3.5 year old and GPT about? And how do you think about it as a parent?
Cool. My son and "the robot" chat about things like whether a giraffe would fit in our apartment, what do koalas eat, would a lion or tiger win in a fight. It's a better diversion than passive consumption. We've been doing it a lot on road trips - asking questions about the local fauna.

Very cool. Not passive, and intellectually stimulating indeed :)
